DDPI Worldwide Conference 2024: Silver Sponsors

Families Empowered are delighted to be Silver Sponsors of this year's DDPI Conference, 23-24 September, bringing together a diverse range of world-renowned experts and practitioners dedicated to the treatment of childhood developmental trauma.

DDP and Families Empowered

Families Empowered are dedicated to improving outcomes for children living with early relational trauma through impactful DDP-informed interventions that can positively transform the families at the heart of our work.

We offer both individual support and therapeutic group programmes, including our highly successful Nurturing Attachment Groups for diverse cohorts of adopters and Special Guardians. We work online and in person, primarily across East Anglia and in London.

Benjamin Hargrave is our Primary DDP Consultant and, together, we seek to embed DDP not just within our service offering but across our policies, procedures, staff care, training and supervision as we work towards becoming a DDP-certified agency.

All our therapists are trained to DDP Level Two, with many en route to their practicum. In 2025, we will also offer DDP Level One and Two training, led by Benjamin Hargrave.

We are proud to be a Silver Sponsor at the 2024 DDPI Worldwide Conference and to be part of the global DDP community as we seek to deepen and develop our practice to improve outcomes for the children and families we serve.

DDP: Exploring Intersectionality

This year's conference will explore and redefine how Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and Practice (DDP) welcomes, affirms and is of service to practitioners and families at the intersection of developmental trauma, isolation, marginalisation and/or oppression.

With a thought-provoking programme of speakers and workshops, this event promises to enrich and evolve our ongoing discussion and learning. Our Primary DDP Consultant, Benjamin Hargrave, will be presenting 'Secrets of Me', a workshop to explore how DDP can support people who have secrets about themselves they cannot speak, maybe even to themselves, and the ways in which DDP can help deepen connection with those struggling to connect with themselves.

The conference is held at the East Midlands Conference Centre (Nottingham) and you can also attend virtually online.
